Thanos is meeting his end at the hands of Breaking Bad’s Tuco in a bizarre Avengers: Endgame crossover. The 22nd installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe served as the culmination of the epic Infinity Saga as the remaining members of the titular superhero team come together in the hopes of reversing Thanos’ devastating snap that wiped out half of the universe. The Avengers had to travel through time in the hopes of reclaiming the destroyed Infinity Stones and bring them back to the present to snap everyone back into existence.
Avengers: Endgame saw the biggest roster yet for an MCU outing with the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan and Josh Brolin. The film scored rave reviews from critics and audiences alike and was a box office behemoth, grossing nearly $2.8 billion worldwide, holding the record for the highest-grossing film of all-time twice, only to be surpassed by Avatar both times. While Avengers: Endgame may have seen Thanos defeated by the Marvel superhero team, one fan has their own thoughts on how the film could have ended.
YouTube channel Alternative Cuts have released a bizarre Avengers: Endgame crossover video. The video sees Breaking Bad’s Tuco Salamanca facing off against Thanos as he crushes up the Mind Stone and snorts it like cocaine, subsequently using Thor’s Mjolnir to take down the Mad Titan. Check out the hilarious crossover below:
Introduced in Breaking Bad season 1, Raymond Cruz’s Tuco Salamanca quickly became one of fans’ favorite characters in AMC’s crime drama series. Tuco served as Walt and Jesse’s introduction to the world of the New Mexico drug cartels and was a major antagonist for his increasingly paranoid behavior and frequent drug usage, ultimately meeting his end when Hank follows Jesse to his meeting with Walt and Tuco and kills the kingpin. Tuco would later return in Better Call Saul as the second-in-command of the Salamanca family who Bob Odenkirk’s titular lawyer runs afoul of during an insurance scam and later is tricked into getting arrested by Mike and Tuco.
Thanos meeting his end in Avengers: Endgame was preceded by one of MCU fans’ favorite moments with Falcon, Black Panther and the rest of the other previously-dead heroes revived and arriving on the scene via Doctor Strange and other sorcerer’s portals. While the bizarre Avengers crossover video may not carry the same emotional impact as the actual version of the scene, it’s sure to provide a good laugh to both Breaking Bad and MCU fans alike. Audiences can revisit the original moment with Avengers: Endgame streaming on Disney+ while Tuco’s time in both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are available on Netflix.
